Through sports and physical fitness activities, Discover Sports & Fitness teaches kids and families the importance of physical conditioning, practice, teamwork and collaboration.

What We Do

Kids Racing

Discover Sports and Fitness is the premier youth sports program option in the East Valley, bringing fun sports and fitness programs to preschools, daycares, homeschool groups, and elementary schools.  With a variety of programs, from soccer to Intro to Fitness to old school style PE classes, Discover Sports is the fun, convenient way to introduce kids to a variety of sports and start them on a lifetime of discovering their passion for sports, fitness, and movement. 

 

Our awesome coaches bring all the equipment and fun to kids 1-12 years old through our age appropriate curriculum, that includes an emphasis on giving kids the opportunity to practice, play, and learn in an encouraging environment. We start each class with a warm up and stretches, followed by fundamental sports and fitness skills taught through kid-friendly games.

Joel Parron
Head Coach, Owner
NASM Youth Exercise Specialist

Joel is an avid soccer player, who enjoys training at the gym. He has a love for fitness and sports, and believes that sports teach kids valuable life skills such as team work, sportsmanship, and discipline. He hopes that all kids will have the opportunity to try new sports and continue their fitness journey through life.

Casey Saylor
Coach

Casey loves sports and staying active and enjoys seeing kids learn, grow, and discover new passions. Besides playing in a recreational soccer league, she is frequently hiking,  doing yoga, or taking her dog Lucky for a run. She has completed a sprint Triathlon and enjoys finding new ways to challenge herself. Casey has even completed a cross country bike ride, riding over 2,500 miles. She also has a passion for cooking and finding new healthy, delicious recipes.

Jessica Blue
Coach

Jessica enjoys playing basketball, swimming, and walking around the park. She has completed two sprint Triathlons and a 10K run. Jessica enjoys coming up with creative games and drills to keep kids engaged and having fun. Her most recent endeavor is trying to keep up with her 10 month old daughter, now that is a workout! 

Health & Safety

We observe and follow the guidelines of the on site facility, including the school or facilities policy regarding face masks, as long as it complies with the CDC regulations. We require our coaches to notify us if they are experiencing any sick or flu-like symptoms, and provide a substitute coach.

 

Additionally, we thoroughly sanitize equipment between sessions. We ask that our schools continue to follow best practices of requiring children experiencing any sick or flu-like symptoms to stay home to help prevent the spread of illnesses.
